This Father's Day- Give Him Just What He Needs!

This Father's Day- Give Him Just What He Needs!

Having dediced as an example the limited known Slavic mythology for my next exhibition, I am reading recently published books which extracted myths form old songs, to uncover that Slavic mythology has several similarities with all the Greek and Celtic, even Egyptian which I have read upon for decades. It has a hierarchy of gods, each empowered and serving their role in ensuring the cycle of life on the planet and also the change of years seasons. The main god may be the god Poseidon god from the skies, as well as the female is Mokush, goddesss from the Earth, and water..  In the west today, Mother Earth has hippy frivolous conotations of earth and nature, recycling and green protesting , but digging up old myths you must eventually realize that this goddess generally the keeper from the gates in the underworld. She stops sounding as being a mother as soon as you recognise she symbolises death, becomes indeed rather frightening ,that is certainly before you research further .I had thought contemporary witches had coined the name Mother Earth but digging up old myths one realises thar she always existed. We have met her in centuries of art and literature because the Greek Demetra , the Celt Morgana, slavic Mokush, Hecate, other nations use alternate names. She symbolises death, and blossom or feritily. A paradoxical mix.

1. Never place upon the little one pressure to succeed to getting high ratings at school. Whether they be academic or perhaps extra-curricular, a kid would you not meet this expectation will forever be tormented by the concept he/she is often a failure. For a youngster would you surpass his/her parent's academic standards, maintaining high ratings at school will be his perpetual balls-and-chains. Plus, a kid who's been raised believing that losing implies personal failure, will mature with no knowledge of the technique of defeat. Then ensuring that this specific child won't have the hurt failure brings has to be parent's worst nightmare. Sometimes, even notion of “just barely passing" Algebra will be the answer why a straight-A student would suddenly choose to end his/her life.

In the meantime, many Middle East watchers opine which the ISIS video was first designed to stir the Jordanian visitors to arise against their pro-Western sovereign King Abdullah II. However, the exact opposite effect is pretty obvious ever since the Jordanian individuals have actually rallied with their king. Even Lt. Kasasbeh's father, an effective politician and clan leader himself, was respectfully in disagreement with King Abdullah's decision to produce airstrikes against ISIS, calling it "America's war."

We are systematically poisoning the land and also the water on planet earth. The land and seas feed us, and that we cannot survive without clean waters for days. Does this prevent us from destroying the world that provides? It does not. It seems that were too short-sighted to view that eventually we are in charge of our personal demise as we tend not to continue to rectify the harm we've done.

Another day spent with Kevin screaming....not sleeping.....refusing to eat. Another call towards the doctors' office at 5:00P explaining that Kevin was still being screaming. Again being reassured that everything was okay. At 11:00P on Day 2 of Kevin's vaccination the pediatrician called home to confirm to determine how Kevin was doing. I was holding a still screaming child. Once the pediatrician heard the sounds of Kevin's scream I was expected to head for the e . r . without delay.
